Overnight Oats in a Jar

Breakfast on the run has never been so healthy. These lovely creamy strawberry overnight oats are made in less than 5 minutes the night before and popped in the fridge to do its thing.

These are brilliant for when you might have to get up early for sport, have odd work hours or never get time for breakfast in the morning – you can bung a few of these made up in the fridge on one hit, they last a few days and then just grab them as you are running out the door.

Strawberry Overnight Oats with Almond Flour Recipe

INGREDIENTS:

1st Layer/Base:

♦ ½ cup Jumbo Oats

♦ ½ cup 0% Fat Greek Yogurt without flavour/sugar

♦ 5 Mashed Strawberry

Optional: Honey to sweeten

2 layer:

♦ 3 tbsp Almond Flour

♦ Almond milk, (or any milk: coconut, rice, hemp).

DIRECTIONS:

1st layer: Mix all the ingredients together and set aside.

2nd layer: For the almond layer: Mix enough almond milk with the almond flour to form a thick paste. Layer or mix both together. Add in a glass jar, refrigerate overnight and eat cold.

In the morning add some fresh strawberries desiccated coconut and enjoy!
